This is not about me

Before doing something for someone I used to wonder what were my motives and after if my motives were true.

Was it really possible to be altruistic? I have asked myself this question a thousand times and I was never able to answer: yes!

I do believe in good and helping others but having no expectations at all seemed impossible to me.

More often than not when I think about helping someone I did expect something. There was an ulterior motive.

So I have decided to change my mindset, I do not think anymore about helping; I think about giving.

It’s infinitely easier.

Once it’s out of my hands, it’s gone. It belongs to the world; And, hopefully, it will become something good.
