It is like those cartoon characters that don’t speak and can only make noises.
My mind makes noises all the time.
And when I pay attention to these noises I get lost in the thoughts that follow.
It’s not bad and it’s not good, if I can control it.
Most of the time I can’t, seconds turn into hours and suddenly it’s 6 in the morning and I need to get ready for work.
But I’m getting better, now I focus on what are the things that I can do at the moment and leave the ones that I can’t for later when the moment comes.
This all came to me after reading about Stoicism and Mindfulness.
It’s a start!
